Settled in the picturesque Wayanad region of Kerala, Neelimala serves as a major tourist attraction for nature wanderers and adventure seekers. The viewpoint affords a great view of the cascading Meenmutty falls and the beautiful valley in its forefront. The view of Meenmutty waterfalls from Neelimala resembles like a milky way, tearing apart the intense foliage of Wayanad forests.

The scenic vicinity of Neelimala is also an excellent venue for trekking with lots of stimulating trails that go through coffee plantations, virgin forests and acres of flowery land. Visitors need to hire a jeep from Vaduvanchal main road, to go up a hill around 3 KM away. From there a guide will take you on a 2.5 km walk to the viewpoint. The trekking trail is narrow and steep. From the point, tourists can see the milky white streams gushing through the hills, making its way towards the river
